Get to know Ey Up Petal!

Hi there! I’m guessing you’re here to get to know Ey Up Petal, so here we go… Ey Up Petal is a one woman business, just a young lass in her 20’s with an absolute love for flowers and nature. Every single bouquet, set up, tribute etc is made by me, Amy!

I started my floristry adventure during the crazy 2020 lockdown after finding myself in a panic of not knowing what my next steps would be after leaving college with an art and design and fashion and textiles diploma. After a full blown meltdown of what I would do next, placed on the table next to me was a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Well the lightbulb moment of my mum struck and there I was waltzing down to my local florist with no idea of what I was stepping into… And the rest is history!

I have a real passion for flowers, I’m so interested in learning everything there is about them. I love the different varieties, scents, textures and colours they have to offer. In my spare time I like to make myself a cuppa and head down to my allotment where I grow my own vegetables and flowers for me and my family to enjoy. Every now and again, when in season, I will pot up some of my “starter” plants and sell them which people love! My best sellers are my beautiful home grown sunflowers 🌻
